Should anti-tobacco activists satisfy themselves with educating people about the potential danger of secondhand smoke and allow them to make their own decisions? Or should they seize the power of government and make the decisions for business owners, without any regard for individual choice or the economic damage to businesses? We believe informed adults should be able to make their own decisions regarding smoking. We support the ability of businesses to set their own policies, based on the smoking preferences of their customers.
